About the Artist

Catherine Crumpton is an artist, curator, gallery owner, and North Carolina native. After decades in the pharmaceutical industry, and owning an art gallery (Alizarin) in downtown Durham, Cathy chose to pursue her love of painting full-time in Wilmington, North Carolina.  This artistic environment has enabled Catherine to pursue her lifetime dream of painting.

Catherine is a current member of National Oil and Acrylic Painters (NOAP) and Associate Member of Oil Painters of America (OPA).   She is a current of the Wilmington Art Association and shows her work at shows across North Carolina.
